It is to be noted alongside our Governance policy, to form an ESG plan for the company.<\/span><\/p> 2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>Objective<\/span><\/b><\/p> The Translation Department Limited t\/a Transferendum aims to fulfil the needs of our customers without sacrificing the needs of future generations.<\/span><\/p> 3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>Responsibility<\/span><\/b><\/p> Our business practices are not deemed aggressive to the environment, but we strive to minimise our impact on the environment where feasible. It is to be noted alongside both our Governance and Environmental and Sustainability policies, to form an ESG plan for the company.<\/span><\/p> 2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>Objective<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p> Transferendum has a duty to ensure employees\u2019 safety, health and welfare at work as far as is reasonably practicable. <\/span><\/p> 3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>Responsibility<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p> Our business practices are not deemed hazardous to the health of our employees, suppliers, or customers, but we strive to minimise any risks taken by these persons where feasible. In particular, providing safe office practices for our employees and mitigating any problems that may arise in the event of remote work.<\/span><\/p> 4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/b>Policy<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p> In order to prevent workplace injuries and ill-health, Transferendum shall:<\/span><\/p> \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Provide and maintain a safe workplace which uses safe equipment;<\/span><\/span><\/p> \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Prevent risks from use of any article or substance and from exposure to physical agents, noise and vibration;<\/span><\/span><\/p> \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Prevent any improper conduct or behaviour likely to put the safety, health and welfare of employees at risk;<\/span><\/span><\/p> \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Provide instruction and training on health and safety;<\/span><\/span><\/p> \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Appoint an employee as the organisation\u2019s Safety Officer.<\/span><\/span><\/p> Our employees are also responsible for maintaining a safe environment. These responsibilities shall include the following:<\/span><\/p> \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To take reasonable care to protect the health and safety of themselves and of other people in the workplace;<\/span><\/span><\/p> \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Not to engage in improper behaviour that will endanger themselves or others;<\/span><\/span><\/p> \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Not to be under the influence of drink or drugs in the workplace;<\/span><\/span><\/p> \u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>To undergo any reasonable medical or other assessment if requested to do so by Transferendum\u00a0;<\/span><\/span><\/p>Health and Safety Policy\u200b<\/strong><\/h2>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
